Return, Exchange & Store Credit Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for either an exchange or store credit equal to the value of the item successfully returned.

Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it—unopened, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please contact us at tyler@dogfolktreats.com and let us know whether you prefer:

  • An exchange for another product, or

  • Store credit equal to the value of the returned item.

All returns must be approved before being sent back. Once approved, we will send you a prepaid return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send the package.

Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting and receiving approval will not be accepted.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We’ll work quickly to evaluate the issue and make it right through an exchange or store credit where applicable.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (such as food or treats)

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Personal care products

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also may not accept returns for sale items or gift cards.

If you have questions about a specific product, please reach out before placing your return request.


Exchanges

If you're hoping to switch to another product, the fastest way is to start a return request, send your item back once approved, and choose the product you’d like to exchange it for. We’ll process the exchange as soon as your return is received and inspected.


Store Credit

If you choose store credit, it will be issued once we receive and inspect your returned item. Store credit will be provided in the form of a digital gift card equal to the product value of the successfully returned item.
